UP bans VHP's Sankalp Sabha
The Uttar Pradesh government Monday banned Vishwa Hindu Parishad's (VHP) 'Sankalp Sabha' proposed to be held in Ayodhya Oct 18, officials said.
 
 Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) R.K. Vishwakarma said the ban would be enforced at all cost.
 
 The meeting was banned in view of security concerns in the region, the official said. 
 
 The state government also sent reinforcements to the temple town. 
 
 Vishwakarma said five additional superintendent of  police (ASPs), 10 deputy SPs, 50 inspectors and sub-inspectors, 10 woman sub-inspectors, 300 police constables and five extra companies of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) have been deployed in the area.
