Voice calls and SMS have been restored in Jammu and Kashmir for prepaid mobile connections, union territory officials said on Saturday, in the latest measure to ease some of the severe restrictions imposed last Aug. 2 G Internet services will also be restored with some limits on post-paid SIM cards in Bandipora and Kupwara districts of Kashmir and 10 other districts of Jammu, said senior officer Rohit Kansal at a news conference. To give mobile internet connectivity on such SIM cards, telecom service providers will need to check the subscribers ' credentials, he said.
