A young woman in Kolkata was raped by four men alleged to be her colleagues at Chitpur railway station early on Sunday morning.  Ironically, the police did not lodge complaint against the rapists even after much persuasion by the victim initially. 

When pressure started building up after the State Woimen's Commission asking the police to provide report on the alleged rape within 15 days, the police filed FIR against the four alleged rapist who were abscounding.  They have launched manhunt to nab them. 

The woman alleged she was threatened to withdraw her complaint and also blackmailed through objectionable photographs.

Meanwhile, the railway administration has ordered probe into the incident.
