Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Friday (13th Nov) released senior journalist and writer Avinash Pathak’s two Marathi books through digital platform from Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.

The books ‘Sattechya Savalit’ (In the shadow of Power) and ‘Drishtikshep’ (A Glance) were released by the Governor in the virtual presence  of former MP Ajay Sancheti, senior journalist Dr Uday Nirgudkar, patron of ‘Chanakya Varta’ Laxminarayan Bhala, editor of ‘Chanakya Varta’ Dr Amit Jain and writer Avinash Pathak.

Congratulating Avinash Pathak for writing the two books, the Governor said the books containing interesting and behind the scene stories relating to the political spectrum and articles on contemporary political issues will enlighten the readers on a range of subjects.

Mentioning that Maharashtra has a beautiful confluence of writers and litterateurs, the Governor expressed the hope that Avinash Pathak would continue to share the wealth of his wisdom by writing more such books.

The Governor noted that parliamentarians from Maharashtra often speak in Hindi language in Parliament and also give the ‘tadka’ of Hindi language whenever they are speaking in Marathi. He felt that this exchange between Marathi and Hindi was interesting.
