All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticised "two children's scheme" of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Mohan Bhagwat, citing the country's biggest issue as jobs, not population. He further stated that the call for the above-mentioned policy by the Bhagwat was to monitor the Muslim population, stating that the RSS has always held this stance on the community. Taking a dig at Bhagwat's proposed policy, he said, "Shame on you! I have more than two children and several BJP leaders have more than two children. RSS has always maintained that it is necessary to control the Muslim population.
