New Delhi: On Tuesday, in INX Media corruption case lodged by CBI, Supreme Court granted bail to former finance minister P Chidambaram. In the case of INX Media corruption, the Supreme Court set aside the Sept. 30 judgement of Delhi HC denying bail to P Chidambaram. Supreme Court says that, if not needed in any other case, P Chidambaram will be released on bail. In the corruption case, a bench led by Justice R Banumathi set aside the September 30 judgement of the Delhi High Court refusing him bail. The bench, which also included Justice A S Bopanna and Hrishikesh Roy, granted Chidambaram bail on a personal Rs 1 lakh bond with one surety of the same amount.
