New Delhi: The Center must produce the letters claiming a majority from Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the letters from the Governor calling for government, the Supreme Court said today. A tri-judicial bench also issued notice to  Fadnavis, his deputy Ajit Pawar, the state, and the central government at an extraordinary hearing on Sunday. Tomorrow at 10.30 am, the Centre will have to produce the letters in court. The order bypassed the Shiv Sena, Congress and Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party's demand that the BJP be asked to take a test of strength on the floor of the Maharashtra assembly within 24 hours, as happened in Karnataka.
