New Delhi: Amid the power tussle, Shiv Sena raised voice on Monday against its former alliance partner BJP on the first day of Parliament's winter session, seeking immediate relief for farmers hit by unseasonal rains in parts of Maharashtra. Sena's stand-off with the BJP was evident in the lower house as its leaders were the first to demonstrate against the government and disturb the proceedings among other opposition parties. Both the Sena and the BJP had contested the elections to the Maharashtra Assembly together, but failed to reach a power-sharing arrangement which led to the implementation of the state rule of the President.
