Stating that Universities did not allow Wheelchair cricketers to practice on their grounds, the group urged the Governor to direct all State universities to allow the Divyang sportspersons to use university / college grounds for practice.

Divyang players told the Governor that many of them come from poor to middle class families and didn’t afford practising in private clubs and Gymkhanas. They sought the intervention of the Governor in allowing them to practice on University and College playgrounds.
