New Delhi: Former Jharkhand Congress president Ajoy Kumar joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the capital on Thursday. Kumar, a former Indian Police Service officer, left the Congress post last month after accusing senior party leaders of "nepotism" and working for "personal interests" after losing in Lok Sabha elections. "I join AAP with the sole purpose of helping to advance the movement to provide alternative politics. In the fields of schooling, health, energy and water, the AAP government has performed excellent job. Other sections of the nation need to take it," Kumar said.
