Mumbai: During a party meeting, Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray slashed at prospective ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday, alleging that Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray was a man of his word and the BJP should note that and abide by their earlier pledge of a 50-50 formula for power sharing in Maharashtra. Uddhav also said they insisted on the very formula that Union Home Minister Amit Shah told them during a meeting earlier this year before the Lok Sabha elections. The Shiv Sena chief said that his party is not power-hungry and just wants to follow up on whatever was promised to them.
