CM Naidu says true colour

The BJP, YSRCP and Jana Sena Party did not attend the all-party meeting called to discuss the issue of granting Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh has revealed the true colours of these parties.

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu asserted, “BJP, YSRCP & Jana Sena Party did not attend yesterday's all-party meeting, exposing their true colours.”

The Telugu Desam Party chief had convened an all-party meeting at the state assembly to discuss the next course of action for securing the state's rights under the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014.

The CM, however, said that his party's ministers will once again go and urge the three parties to attend the next all-party meeting, adding, “If needed, our ministers will go and call them. If they don't attend the meeting they will be seen as traitors by people.”

Naidu said that his party will go on a “constructive” protest.

He stated, “From today until 6th April, everybody in the state should wear a black badge, work one extra hour and show their protest.”
