New Delhi, Nov 30: Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu came down heavily on the opposition for continuously disrupting parliamentary work along with playing cheap politics over national security by creating a ruckus by dragging the army into the Lok Sabha debate.
Though the opposition leaders were demanding that an obituary tribute be given to the martyrs of yesterday’s attack, they did not let the government present any case or even put up the obituary in the midst the chaos in both houses of the Parliament.
"The Congress is doing politics over the national security and the soldiers of the country which is very unfortunate and condemnable," Naidu added. "People of the country hate such politics."
The Union minister was speaking outside Parliament as the lower house stood adjourned till 12 noon followed by adjournment in the Lok sabha as well. Despite the PM’s presence in the Lok Sabha the opposition carried on with their disruptive act.
"In the house, they raised the question about the Nagrota terror attack and the Speaker informed that combing operations are underway, and once operation is over tribute will be paid in the house to the martyred soldiers," Naidu said.
