A case has been registered against Congress leader Narayanaswamy in Karnataka for throwing petrol and threatening to set Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) office on fire in Bengaluru. 

The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president G Parameshwara took to Twitter after the incident and tweeted, “I have instructed our Bengaluru District North District Congress Committee (DCC) to immediately suspend Narayanswamy.”

State home minister Ramalinga Reddy expressed, “It is unfortunate that the incident took place. The government has initiated necessary action against the leader.”

 Whereas BJP spokesperson Suresh Kumar stated that the incident was ‘another show of hooliganism’ by the Congress and by a ‘close aide of Siddaramaiah.’
