Congress leader Ashok Gehlot has sworn-in as the chief minister of the Rajasthan while PCC president Sachin Pilot took oath as the Deputy chief minister as well. The oath ceremony took place at the historic Albert Hall, in front of several leaders and party workers.

The Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and the BSP leader Mayawati didn't attend the function as they had already informed about their absence.  

The Congress President Rahul Gandhi, former PM Manmohan Singh have attended the function along with the BJP leader and former CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia
