Mumbai: On the Gen Z protest in Nepal, Former Indian Ambassador to the Himalayan country Bhaswati Mukherjee says, “…So, the need of the hour is first to re-establish the rule of law and law and order across Nepal, particularly in Kathmandu, where the situation is completely out of control. After that, discussions should take place to determine who would be best suited to handle this. The Royal Nepalese Army, now called the Nepalese Army, would probably be in the best position to restore law and order and bring the parties together to discuss a prime ministerial candidate acceptable to the people of Nepal, particularly the young, or to conduct fresh elections where the people can decide whom they want…”
