Janata Dal (S) leader HD Kumaraswamy will go to Delhi today to meet Congress president Rahul Gandhi and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi after he announced that he will prove majority in the assembly within 24 hours of his swearing-in.

Kumaraswamy dismissed the rumours about any type of sharing agreement between the JD(S) and the Congress as he said that he will be the chief minister for five years and there is no power exchange with the Congress.

Meanwhile unconfirmed sources reveal that there will be two deputy chief ministers in the state and PCC president G Parameshwara will be the first choice deputy CM while senior Congress leader Shamanuru Shivashankarappa's name also joins the list as the All India Veerasaiva Sabha has demanded that Shivashankarappa should be the deputy CM.
