ME News Bureau: Police in Ahmedabad denied permission for PM Narendra Modi and Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi to conduct roadshow on the same day. PM Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi were expected to have a face-off in Gujarat's financial capital just days after first-phase voting was held in the states's two part election. Moreover, this roadshow were in different routes, but Gandhi's roadshow would begin and pass through areas close to Modi's road rally. Inshort, Gandhi's roadshow would be just after Modi's roadshow. According to the Police of Ahmedabad ensuring security,law and order would be difficult if both would be out on the streets.
