Congress president Rahul Gandhi gave a written notice to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan under Rule 357 that he should be given a chance to speak.

Congress is looking to take up the Rafale fighter jets acquisition issue once again. Rahul Gandhi said, “There is a rule that when someone raises an issue or is spoken about he or she gets a chance to speak, but when I want to raise this issue in Parliament, the House was adjourned.” He further added, “Every person feels that they voted for PM on issue of corruption but today not a single word is being said about Rafale by the PM.”
