New Delhi: Sanjay Singh, a member of Rajya Sabha, resigned from the Congress together with his spouse Ameeta on Tuesday, claiming they could not stay in a party with absence of communication and clarity. On Wednesday, they are anticipated to enter the BJP. The politician, elected from Assam to the Rajya Sabha, also gave up his upper house seat. Sources said his resignation was accepted by Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu.
"I left Congress because it is suffering from a complete absence of communication now. Leadership is hollowed out, and there is no clarity about anything,"Singh, who belongs to the royal family of Amethi, as he said.
