Sports Desk: The Asia Cup cricket match between India and Pakistan will be played on September 14. People are also demanding a boycott of the match from India’s side. Reacting to the matter, former Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria said that people are saying this because the match was boycotted by India in the Legends League. After this decision, people will say that the legends were wrong in refusing to play against Pakistan. The Asian Cricket Council (organiser) must have got the green signal from the Indian cricket board, BCCI, which is why the India-Pakistan match was organised. “I believe that the BCCI should have thought deeply about this and should have taken time before making a decision. There should be no double standards in this -sometimes it is yes, and sometimes, a no. If you are talking about patriotism, then you have to stick to it,” he said.
