India's ace automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India, has launched limited edition variants of the all-purpose van Ertiga, which will cost up to Rs 8.05 lakh. 

The new version boasts of high fuel efficiency, interior comfort, ease of driving and flexi seating, a company official said.

The company, which is introducing the limited edition Ertiga to mark the momentous 150,000 unit sales in the domestic market, said it would be soon available in petrol, CNG and diesel variants. 

The costs of petrol, CNG and diesel variant would be Rs 6.76 lakh, Rs 7.34 lakh and Rs 8.05 lakh respectively.

It would be available in varied shades like new pearl blaze blue colour with several factory-fitted high-end features. The van would also be available in superior white and silky silver metallic colours. 

‘Limited editions help us strengthen the brand and enhance the overall appeal of the car,’ a senior executive of the company informed. 

"We have sold over 150,000 units in Indian market. Ertiga was the fastest to achieve this milestone in B segment. Customers have appreciated the Ertiga for its compact size, contemporary looks, ergonomic design and the flexibility of 5+2 seating," he added.
