Pakistan team leaves for snooker championship in Ireland
Pakistan's two-member team Saturday left for Ireland to participate in the IBSF 6-Reds Championship and the World Team Snooker Championships starting Sunday, officials said.
 
 The two-member team comprises of Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Sajjad departed to participate in the mega event scheduled to be held from Sept. 29 to Oct.6 in Carlow, Ireland, reported Xinhua citing the Pakistan Billiard and Snooker Association (PBSA) President Alamgir Shaikh.
 
 Shaikh said, "We have lot of hopes from IBSF World Amateur Snooker Champion Asif and former Asian No. 2 Sajjad that they will win honors for their country."
