Warner bats Australia to a strong position

Opener David Warner put Australia in a position of strength, hitting his second century of the match (102), to end day four of the first Test at 290 for five, ahead by 363 runs, after the hosts bowled out India for 444 at the Adelaide Oval here Friday.

  Warner continued his fine form and dominated the visitors' attack from the very beginning. Another centurion, Steven Smith was unbeaten on 52 at stumps.
 
 Earlier, off-spinner Nathan Lyon took five wickets conceding 134 runs to give the hosts a 73-run lead.
 
 Australia had declared their first innings at 517 for seven.
