Zee Media Corporation Limited on Monday announced its intention to venture into English news broadcast with the appointment of Rohit Gandhi as editor-in-chief for English news broadcast and related content.

 

 

 Gandhi will be heading the operations of all initiatives in this space, working closely with the business head and revenue resources, said a press release.

 

 Previously, Gandhi was the international correspondent and communication strategist for South Asian international news, and earlier worked with CBC, CNN, BCTV and Global TV, Canada, and NDTV. He has covered many war zones including Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003.
