BJP announces first list

New Delhi: On Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party announced its first list of applicants for 125 constituencies, Devendra Fadnavis will contest from Nagpur South West  assembly constituency. The Maharashtra assembly has 288 seats, and the BJP in alliance with the Shiv Sena will fight this month's election. BJP chief of Maharashtra, Chandrakant Patil, will be contesting from Kothrud. There are also 12 female candidates in the list. The BJP also fielded Udayanraje Bhosale, a former Nationalist Congress Party MP from Satara in the bye-election to Satara parliamentary seat. It is anticipated that the BJP will have 145 seats to contest and the Sena, 125. Balance  seats will be allocated to allies.
