New Delhi :On Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expelled Uttarakhand MLA Pranav Singh Champion from the party for six years, days after he was seen dancing in a video that went viral on social media with two pistols and a carbine.

BJP Secretary General Arun Singh said the Khanpur MLA's indiscipline was taken seriously. "The BJP suspends him from the main membership of the party for six years, taking into consideration the MLA's indiscipline. The choice is enforced instantly," he said in a letter in Hindi.
