Six people were killed while dozens were wounded following a blast on Saturday at the illegal fireworks plant in Uttar Pradesh's Etah. The event occurred in Takiya town of Mirehachi. Reports said a house owned by one Niresh Jatav was running plant. The house where crackers were produced was heavily damaged and it is still said that some persons are under the debris. Police sources said the license was in the name of one Munni Devi for the manufacturing unit. At the moment of the blast, the plant had at least 20 employees. Police and local authorities initiated an operation to rescue individuals trapped beneath the debris.
