Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said this morning that the central inter-ministerial team will submit a report to the Center in two days, evaluating the harm caused by the floods in the state.

"The Centre  has sent a study team to our state. The team has come here to study flood-hit regions. They're going to send the report to the Centre in two days. I'm sure the central government is going to offer the state enough money," he informed journalists. So far, at least 82 people have lost their lives in flood-related incidents in Karnataka.

In view of the ongoing crisis, Mr Yediyurappa directed his cabinet's newly-induced ministers to visit the flood-affected districts widely from Wednesday for two days and requested them to prioritize providing relief to flood victims.
