Raipur: Chhattisgarh reports first case of COVID19 on Thursday. Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo confirms the report asking people to stay alert avoiding meetings and public gatherings.

Woman with a travel history to London tested positive for coronavirus infection in Chhattisgarh. The Health Department said the woman from Raipur had returned to India from London with her family. The Health Department team sent her blood sample for testing on March 17 admitting the women to All India Institute of Medical Sciences here after the virus infection was confirmed on Wednesday.

The woman has been kept in an isolation ward and her family members are also undergoing medical examination. The woman's co-travellers in the plane are also being tracked, the sources said.
