Kochi: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) is all set to question a former Kerala minister Ebrahim Kunju about a case of graft in the construction of the Palarivattom flyover. Mohammed Hanish, a senior bureaucrat is the second person who is likely to be called in by the VACB. Built at a cost of Rs 42 crore during the previous regime of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, the 750-meter flyover was expected to last for over 100 years. It was completed in October 2016, and the flyover started collapsing and had to be demolished within three years. The flyover was built for the state-owned Roads and Bridges Development Corporation through Delhi-based RDS Projects. KITCO had been the project supervisory consultant.
