Dilip Ghosh, president of the West Bengal BJP, made bizarre statements saying that few intellectuals who eat beef on road side stalls would like to tell them to eat dog meat as well, their health would be fine but why they should eat on the roads. Speaking in Burdwan of West Bengal, Dilip Ghosh said, "Few intellectuals eat beef on the roads, I advise them to eat dog meat too, their health will be fine whatever animals they eat, but why on the roads? Eat at your home. Dilip Ghosh added, ' Cow is our mother, we're still alive by eating cow's milk, so if someone misbehaves with my mother, I'll treat them the way they should be treated. It's a sin on India's holiest soil to kill cows and eat beef. Dilip Ghosh also went to claim that cow milk contains gold and that is the reason its milk colour is golden.
