FIR  for two hide travel

Srinagar: FIR has been registered against two persons of Awantipora area for concealing travel history to avoid compulsory quarantine. 

The Jammu Kashmir police said in statement that  FIR registered after the Magistrate informed Police that they had concealed their travel history.  

Under section 188, 270, 271 of India Penal Code (IPC) FIR has been registered against them at Awantipora police station.

Both are students recently returned to village Charsoo and village Goripora of Awantipora having a travel history of Pakistan and Bangladesh and have been sent to EDI Pampore for necessary quarantine.

Awantipora Police appealed to the general public to cooperate with administration and Police. 

People are also requested to inform Police Control Room Awantipora on phone number 01933247369/7051404001, if any person found in their locality has returned from outside Jammu and Kashmir.
