Pune: In rain-related incidents in Pune, twelve people were killed after unusually heavy downpour lashed the city from late Wednesday night. The rainfall stopped on Thursday early in the morning. The city's schools and colleges will be closed on Thursday, Pune district collector Navalkishore Ram ordered the closure of the school in Pune and Purandar, Bhor, Baramati and Haveli's adjacent talukas.
“2 NDRF teams are deployed in Pune and 2 in Baramati, state government is also closely monitoring the dam discharge,” Fadnavis said in a tweet on Thursday morning.
