On Monday, people in Jammu and Kashmir celebrated Bakrid in the midst of huge scale-up security and constant blackout communication after their unique status was revoked last week.

People could be seen flocking in tiny groups to local mosques to offer prayers. Large groups of people were not permitted to assemble and there were also traffic restrictions.
