Over three weeks after party leader BS Yediyurappa was sworn in as chief minister, the cabinet expansion of the BJP government in Karnataka will take place on Tuesday afternoon. The decision was announced by the Chief Minister's Office on Saturday evening. Mr Yediyurappa visited Delhi earlier this month for a BJP high command list of cabinet members. Party chief Amit Shah, however, advised him to go back instead to Karnataka and supervise flood relief at a time when the state had lost a lot of life to the raging moonsoon.
