Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to a news organization conclave in Kochi, Kerala, where he spoke through video conferencing. 

The conclave, organized by a major  Malayali newspaper, addressed the theme of' New India, New Government, New Aspirations, New Challenges, New Frontiers and New Avenues.'

PM Modi submitted his vision for New India at the conclave, saying New India is all about Participatory Democracy. "India is rapidly developing, and it's going on for good," PM Modi said, "New India is about Participatory Democracy. It's an era of responsible government and accountable citizens.""For many years, a culture has been perpetrated in which aspiration has become a poor word," he said, "Doors opened based on your surname or your contacts. Success depended on whether or not you belonged to an Old Boy's club. Big towns, large organizations, and large families … that's all that counts."
