Leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi made a call to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday to seek assistance from the Centre for people in his constituency of Wayanad and Kerala, where 25 individuals have already died in torrential rains.

In the districts of Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad, the weather department released a red alert for the state and predicted more rains.

Rahul Gandhi, representing the electoral district of Wayanad in the Lok Sabha, spoke to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan yesterday to seek help for his constituents.
