Srinigar: 

Over the previous 24 hours, four pilgrims have died bringing to 26 the toll of pilgrims murdered during the Amarnath Yatra this year.

Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) officials, who manages the annual Hindu pilgrimage affairs, said three pilgrims were killed on Tuesday, while the fourth pilgrim was killed today morning.

Over the past 23 days, some 2,96 lakh pilgrims have provided prayers within the cave shrine. This is more than the complete amount of pilgrims performing the Yatra during last year's lengthy 60-day span when only 2,83 pilgrims did so.
