Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Central Waqf Chairman Wasim Rizmi declared on Thursday that he will donate Rs. 51,000 to create a Ram temple in Ayodhya. Rizvi said the board favoured building a Ram temple in Ayodhya, and the judgment of the Supreme Court on the decades-old issue was the "best decision" that could have been possible. Last week, in a unanimous verdict, the Supreme Court cleared the way for the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya and ordered the Centre to allocate to the Sunni Waqf Board a separate five-acre plot to build a mosque.
