Delhi: Foreign affairs expert Robinder Nath Sachdev has made a big statement on the US imposing a 25 percent tariff on India and buying oil from Russia. Robinder Sachdev said that India will not stop buying oil from Russia, at least not as yet. India is facing many serious questions, especially economic ones. The first question is of economic viability. “When we buy oil from Russia, we save about 8 to 10 billion dollars annually,” he said. And added, “However, if the US imposes high tariffs on us, which are currently around 25 percent, then our exports, currently $90 billion, may fall by $15 to $20 billion. Robinder Sachdev further said that the US tariffs will have some impact on India’s economy, and this cannot be denied.
