The Ayodhya case heard by the apex court in last 40 days, plans to conclude the argument. The decade old Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute case which is considered to be the second longest case of the nation – was closed by the Supreme Court on Wednesday. Chief Justice Rangan Gogoi along with five magistrates gave three days to the parties to file written notes on moulding of relief or narrow down the issue on which the court declares to pass a final resolution. The other members of the bench included SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and SA Nazeer.
They heard the 14 appeals filed in the apex court against the 2010 Allahabad Court case, which had ordered three way division of the 2.77 acres of the disputed land. The Supreme Court is expected to deliver its ruling by 17 November – the day when Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi shall retire.
