Mumbai: In a powerful tribute to courage, resilience, and hope, Bold Walk 2026 – Fight Against Cancer was successfully hosted earlier this week at Oberoi Mall on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The inspiring initiative was organised by PMK Foundation in association with Oberoi Mall and executed by Astitv Entertainment.
The highlight of the event was the “Cancer Warrior Ramp Walk,” where courageous women who have battled and defeated cancer walked the ramp with confidence, pride, and resilience. Their presence symbolised hope, strength, and the unstoppable spirit of women who refused to give up in the face of adversity.
The event brought together nearly 15 cancer warriors who walked the ramp with immense courage and pride, symbolising their inspiring journeys of strength and survival. The evening served as a reminder that beyond treatment and recovery lies a powerful spirit that deserves celebration and recognition.
Speaking on the occasion, Nayna Dinesh Kanal, Founder of PMK Foundation, expressed her deep commitment to the cause, stating that she stands firmly with cancer warriors at every stage of their journey and has dedicated her life to supporting their betterment and treatment through the initiatives of the foundation.
On behalf of the Oberoi Mall, Shreeram Jariwal extended his wishes to the noble cause, expressing his happiness to be part of such a meaningful initiative that celebrates the courage and resilience of cancer warriors.

The evening was gracefully anchored by Dr Neeraja Gopinathan, who held the event together with warmth and energy as the emcee. Dance therapist Shipra Das interacted with the warriors and the audience through an uplifting dance therapy session that filled the space with positivity and joy. Rapper Kavira further energised the gathering with his powerful lyrical performances, motivating the warriors and captivating the audience.
Felicitation ceremonies were also held to honour doctors, supporters, and partners who have been instrumental in supporting cancer awareness and treatment initiatives. Special appreciation was also extended to the PMK Foundation team and Sai Hospital for their unwavering support, dedication, and commitment in helping make the event a grand success.
Proceeds from the initiative will directly support cancer treatment programmes by PMK Foundation at its Day Care Centre in association with Global Cancer Care, providing financial assistance to patients undergoing treatment. The foundation also plans to extend continued support to the warriors through wellness initiatives such as yoga sessions, emotional wellness programmes, and supportive care activities in the coming months.
The event also saw the presence of several eminent people from the medical, media, and wellness industries who came forward to support the noble cause. Among those present were Yogesh Lakhani, CMD of Bright Outdoor Media Limited; Dr Sandip Bipte, renowned Breast Onco Surgeon; Dr. Khalid Shaikh, director of Sai Hospital; Priyanka Naik, founder of Nurawell; Sadhna Chavan, founder of Sparsh Kala Digital Media; rapper Kavira from Meerut; and audiologist Deepika Arya. Mrs. Nida Vaid from NV Yoga and Hunash Home extended their support to all the warriors as a token of encouragement and care.
