Politician Sharad Pawar, who had declared that he would go to the Enforcement Directorate office today, was told by the agency — don't come, we'll call you if needed. The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader had said he would go to the probe agency himself before engaging busy with election to be held in next month in Maharashtra. Mr Pawar was named in a complaint about an Rs. 25,000-crore scam involving the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank illegally sanctioning loans. He is not listed as an accused by police FIR.
