Mumbai’s Konkan Pranth Vishwamohanam group is organising today a special bhajan concert to support Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam’s Annadanam initiative for Mandala Makaravillakku pilgrims.
The renowned bhajan troupe Nanda Govindham, led by Dubai-based singer Naveen Mohan, will perform alongside acclaimed artist Shri Veeramani Raju at Shanmukhananda Hall from 10 am to 2 pm.
Naveen, excited to return to Mumbai after several years, said their 25-year legacy and Carnatic foundation have helped them connect deeply with devotional audiences across India.
Talking about their popularity among the devotional audience, Naveen said, “Our bhajan connects with people across the country as our events turn out to be iconic events by God’s grace in different cities in India. We do programmes throughout the year. Our teamwork and persistent performance over the last 25 years have earned us this immense love and support from people. All of us have also learnt Carnatic music.”
As part of their Global Bhajan Yaan, the group will tour the US, Australia, Canada and the UK in 2026, following performances in Kenya, Uganda and the Middle East.
