The newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai (South Korea), Mr Dong-young Kim, called on the Governor of Maharashtra CH. Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Monday. The Consul General told the Governor that many Korean companies including Samsung, LG, Busan Bank, Hyundai are doing well in Maharashtra.

He told the Governor that he would endeavour to promote business and cultural relations with Maharashtra.

Welcoming the Consul General to Maharashtra, Governor Vidyasagar Rao asked him also to promote horticultural export from Maharashtra to Korea.
