Navi Mumbai: A 34-year-old man was detained for stabbing a bus driver at Panvel's NMMT (Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport). Panvel Police arrested a 34-year-old person for stabbing the NMMT bus driver on the issue of change. The victim was recognized as Rameshwar Ippar (25), while the accused is Tanmay Kavthekar. Police said the accused requested in exchange for a note of Rs 10 instead of a coin of Rs 10. The bus conductor refused to comply, however, and twice he stabbed him.
