Thane: A 28-year-old labourer in the Thane district of Maharashtra murdered his colleague over some old dispute, police said on Tuesday. The incident happened on Monday in Uttan village when the accused, Ramaswami Srinivas, and the victim, Shanturam Hariram (34), worked on their fishing boats with other workers, police officers said. Srinivas allegedly thrashed Hariram severely, killing him on the spot, he said, The other labourers informed the police.
