Mumbai:Important trains connecting Mumbai and Pune, including the Deccan Express and Pragati Express, will be cancelled for a fortnight from 26 July to 9 August to allow Central Railway to solve the issue of dropping rocks in the treacherous Lonavala-Khandala ghats, an official said here on Wednesday. The Deccan Express, Pragati Express, CSMT Mumbai-Gadag Express, Pune-Panvel passenger train are some of the main trains to be cancelled. As many as 10 trains including the Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyna Express, Mumbai-Kolhapur Sahyadri Express will be operated only upto Pune, and will be cancelled between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharashtra Terminus-Pune sector.
