Australian varsity announces scholarship for Indians

An Australian university Monday announced scholarships worth $240,000 for deserving Indian students.
"The faculty of business, economics and law, at La Trobe University has announced scholarships worth $240,000 for deserving students. These scholarships are being offered across various masters degree courses at the university," said Leigh Drake, executive dean, Faculty of Business, of the Melbourne-based La Trobe University.
Earlier this year, La Trobe had also signed an agreement with Presidency College,Bangalore to provide opportunities to Indian students to experience the diverse and rich offerings at the college and university.
"In an effort to strengthen the existing relationship with India, we have developed new curriculum and trying to offer something new constantly. We are also introducing a new executive MBA for working professionals," added Drake.
